Daikoku is a teacher at the Ninja Academy, and has been for several years. He taught both Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha, and complimented on Itachi, who according to him, required almost no teaching at all. He told this to Fugaku Uchiha, Sasuke's father, which Sasuke right next to him, which made Sasuke feel bad. Fugaku tried to brush the comment off as a hyperbole, but Daikoku insisted on his comment.
Dan was Shizune's uncle and Tsunade's boyfriend, whom she met after he spoke out in favor of her proposal to assign medical ninja to each squad shortly after her brother's death. Because his younger sister died during one of the many raids on Hidden Leaf Village, he aimed to be able to better protect his loved ones. For this end, he wanted to become Hokage. He died during a battle due to hemorrhage, despite Tsunade's desperate efforts to save him. His death made Tsunade hemophobic and made her leave Hidden Leaf Village together with Shizune. Dan would later become one of the people Orochimaru offers to bring back to life in exchange for Tsunade's help, though she ultimately refuses.
Danzo ss more militant than most in the Leaf Village, favoring aggression and war over passiveness and peace. In the past, he competed with Sarutobi for the position of Third Hokage. He created the (now disbanded) ANBU training department known as Root and acted as its head. Danzo was the one who recommended that Sai be placed in Team 7. He appears to have lost an arm at some point, the cause of which remains unknown, and may have also lost his right eye. Despite Danzo's apparent support for the Hokage and Hidden Leaf Village, Tsunade does not trust him; this is apparently well founded, as Danzo had given Sai a secret mission that Tsunade was unaware of: sending Sai to contact Orochimaru and offer to act as a subordinate for him. Yamato believes that Danzo is trying to take over Hidden Leaf Village with Orochimaru's help. This is apparently proven when it is revealed that the envelope Danzo sent Orochimaru was full of pictures and information on the true identities of Hidden Leaf Village's ANBU. However, all of these are nothing more than a front to let Sai get close to Orochimaru, so that Sai can execute his true mission: the assassination of Sasuke Uchiha. After learning of the failed assassination attempt of Sasuke, and Sai's attachment to Team 7, he merely states that "emotion brings hatred, and hatred brings war."
Deidara is a missing-nin from Iwagakure and the partner of Tobi. Deidara refers to his ninjutsu as art, believing each bomb he makes to be such works. He refers to style as superflat (the word itself used to refer to certain types of manga), and claims pop is dead. One of Deidara's catchphrases, "Art is a blast" (or variations therein). Deidara is very proud of his art, to the point that he is simply unwilling to accept that anything could defeat it, leading to frequent overconfidence in battle. Deidara also has a habit of ending his sentences with a mumble/grunt, usually transcribed as un or mmm, in the same way Naruto ends most of his sentences with -ttebayo. Deidara is replaced by Tobi after using his ultimate technique in which he uses the mouth in his chest to turn himself in to a bomb trying to kill Sauske. His effort proves unsuccessful, and Akatsuki mourns his loss.
The Demon Brothers consisting of the older brother Gozu and the younger Meizu, are Chunin-level ninja from Kirigakure who have since become missing-nin. The two are under the command of Zabuza Momochi, who assigns them to kill others for paying clients. Each brother wears a large, metal gauntlet with poisonous claws (Gozu's on his right hand, Meizu's on his left) that are connected by a spiked chain that they operate in unison. Surrounding their opponent with the chain, they are able to constrict the chain to the point of severing their target into several pieces. When they attempted to assassinate Tazuna who Team 7 were hired to protect Naruto Uzumaki, it being his first real battle, freezes in fear and is about to be killed, only to be saved by Sasuke Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi deals with the two easily after seeing who their main target was, and ties them to a tree to await capture.
The Doki are three demons summoned by Tayuya. Their eyes, ears, and mouths are all covered, a reference to the three wise monkeys, though they can hear normally. Tayuya plays various melodies on her flute to control them, each melody causing them to perform different actions. All three are incredibly strong and fast. In addition, they can open their mouths to release a many-mouthed, snake-like creature that consists almost entirely of spiritual energy, making them impossible to hit. These "spirit snakes" are attracted to physical energy, and absorb it on contact, allowing them to weaken an opponent.
Dosu Kinuta is one of the three Genin from Otogakure who entered the Chunin exam. "Dosu" is onomatopoeia for the sound of a sword piercing flesh. A kinuta is a wooden stick used to air out clothing, as well as the Japanese name for one of the three ear bones, anvil. Dosu was equipped with a special speaker implanted into his wrist which served to amplify sound waves and dramatically strengthen his sound-based attacks. It is closely related to the Japanese sound based martial art form called Kiai, which uses sound to attack the water in the body to stop an enemy. With his speaker, Dosu can use Vibrating Sound Drill to damage an opponent's inner ear, throwing them off balance and making them nauseous. He can also control the sound waves in midair, ensuring that they hit their mark. In his pairing with Zaku Abumi, the two seemed to form a friendship, with Zaku coming to Dosu's rescue and Dosu wanting vengeance for Zaku's various defeats. Neither, however, seems to have any special bond with Kin Tsuchi, and as such neither hesitates to attack her when her body is taken over. Dosu is also the more level headed of his team, and can adequately gauge an opponent's strengths and weaknesses in little time. After learning that he is being used by Orochimaru, Dosu decides to kill Sasuke not under Orochimaru's orders, but rather to prove his worth. When attempting to kill Gaara to more easily reach this goal, however, Dosu is easily killed by an angered Gaara.
Doto Kazahana is the boss of Nadare Roga, Mizore Fuyukuma and Fubuki Kakuyoku, he started the revolt in the Land of Snow in search of the Treasure, which turned out to be a generator that transformed the Land of Snow in to a Land of Spring. He was hit directly by Naruto's Ultra Rasengan, enhanced by the Seven-Colored Chakra, throwing him with great force onto one of the Generator Walls. Whether this was the death of him was not confirmed. He appears in the Japanese version of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 as a playable character, but was omitted from the English version before Bandai Namco realized the movie would be released the same month as the game.
